The message also encourages us to ask an honest question. Have we simply been around Jesus, or have we truly surrendered our lives to Him? Church attendance, Christian routines, and biblical knowledge all have value. However, none of them can replace a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
James 2 teaches that authentic faith becomes visible through action. Therefore, obedience is not the source of our salvation. Instead, it is the evidence that our faith is genuine. When we trust Christ, our lives begin to reflect His character, His love, and His mission.
