Faith That Works begins our new series, James: Living Proof, by examining one of the Bible’s clearest pictures of authentic Christian living. James, the half-brother of Jesus and a respected leader in the Jerusalem church, wrote this letter to Jewish believers scattered because of persecution. He introduced himself as a servant of Jesus Christ, demonstrating that true discipleship begins with complete surrender to the Lord.

Understanding interprets those facts. Wisdom applies God’s truth to everyday decisions. God promises to give wisdom generously to anyone who asks in faith, but He calls believers to trust Him wholeheartedly instead of wavering between faith and doubt. A divided heart produces instability, while confident trust leads to spiritual growth.
This message offers encouragement for anyone walking through hardship. No trial escapes God’s notice, and no difficulty falls outside His purpose.
